Official rules of the Java Chat help channel:

1) There is to be NO CHATTING unless absolutely necessary. That includes when you say "wb" or "hey" to someone... you simply don't do it. This is a FORMAL HELP CHANNEL. It's purpose is to HELP USERS, not chat.

2) NO IDLING in the channel. If you're not an op and you are going away from your computer, please part the channel. We have enough people in there already.

3) Help the users ONE AT A TIME. If someone starts helping a person before you, do not interrupt unless you're correcting them. And even then, you should be absolutely positive that you're right. We don't want to confuse the users.

4) When someone joins the channel, you WAIT until the ASK FOR HELP. Unless you are an op, NEVER say "Hello, do you need help?" or anything like that.

If caught breaking the rules, punishment will be carried out swiftly.
